Judge the quality of student work in a variety of areas: writing, grammar, style, postings, replies, promptness, depth. Involve students in self and peer assessment.
Consider getting student involved with assessment. For example, Christian F. writing a persuasive essay about wanting a cell phone and two students comment on his work.
